Guatemala City Airport Bus

Bus transportation is one of the most economic ways of transport in Guatemala.

Due to the lack of security it is not the best option to reach the city center. Bear in mind that it isn’t neither the fastest way of transportation and in peak hours can be really slow.
We recommend using other mean of transportation or to join a shuttle private transport.

Transurbano and Transmetro

Once at Guatemala City, Transurbano and Transmetro services offer bus transportation through the city.

Chicken buses

Chicken buses are really popular in Guatemala and they can take you anywhere to Guatemala City. Their routes usually end up in either Zona 1 or Zona 4.

Fares

In case of foreigners, a single ride cost is 10.00 Quetzal.
